Canon Pixma Error 306

Hi, I installed a new printer Canon Pixma IP 4900 and just installed everything worked fine, then the next day (the evening off Mac and printer as usual) at the time of having to print a very important document I get a warning:
Error 306, can not communicate with the stampante.Assicurarsi that the printer is turned on and properly connected to your computer.
Try printing again.
To which I redid the installation of the drive Canon, but nothing 'changed.
Using an iMac Intel Core 2 Duo with Yosemite 10.10.3 and all cables are connected (USB and power the printer).
Now I ask you to help me solve the problem, as already 'contacted ASSISTANCE Canon who have told me that' a problem from the Mac is not the printer.
Waiting for help, Best regards.
