How to upload videos from iPhone 6 to Photos

I think I'm going mad.

How do you upload videos taken on the iPhone 6 to the new Photos app on the Macbook Pro over wifi?

Photos will upload seamlessly over wifi but videos will not.

Even when I connect the iPhone to the Macbook via USB only certain videos will upload. The remaining videos apparently are not in the right format.

AAAAArrrrgggghhhh....
