its a mac book i bought it that way with only windows 7 installed without the apple os installed no recovery or installation disk also thanks your help would be appreciated
What version of Apple OS X can be installed depends on what MacBook it is: when it is from and what version of OS X was originally installed.
Can you find out?
the macbook was made in 2007 and os x 10.5 was originally installed
Then you will need to purchase a retail DVD of Leopard 10.5 from eBay or Amazon. Once installed run the Software Updater to download and install the 10.5.8 combo updater.
