I bought my Ipod touch online directly from the apple website refurbished and need to have it fixed. However I do not know how to show proof on insurance to make sure they fix it.

The Apple warranty does not cover accidental damage unless you purchased the optional AppleCare+ extended warranty. In that case the exchange cost for accidental damage is $29
