iPhoto Events

Hi, So i just upgraded to iOS 8.3. I had about 5,000 photos that were in iPhoto under events. I transitioned to "Photos" on my Mac (10.10.3) and see those photos in "Albums" "iPhoto Events". NOW, I don't see that folder on my iPhone in "Albums" I would like to put that Album in iCloud and then for it to be on the phone, or, even sync it from my Mac to the Phone. The end result would be to get the Album on my phone, can anyone suggest the best way? I would like to have the originals (I have a 128GB iPhone) so it doesn't have to download each time viewing.
