How do I play a certain music playlist from the Control Center screen?

Before I upgraded my iOS on my iPhone 5c, I was able to start playing a certain playlist from the Music app, quit the app, and then swipe up to open the Control Center, and continue playing the same playlist. Now, I am unable to do that. When I hit the play button in the Control Center, it plays a random song from my music library, instead of the playlist I want it to play.
