Web searches come up empty in Safari

Has there been a recent change or update to Safari? I'm doing web searches and from the same search engine and suddenly Safari

shows no results. If I copy and paste the results page URL into Firefox, the search results are now visible. What has changed that

is keeping the search results from appearing?

From the Safari menu bar, select

Safari Preferences... Extensions

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
