Apple charger not working

Hey Guys,

I have an issue with Apple iPhone Cable, I have two cables A and B, A is the old one and B is the new.

A is not working as expected. Everytime I plug the USB cable it comes up with error: "apple iphone cable has exceeded the power limits of its hub port". It was working before but not sure what went wrong but it has stopped charging my phone or detect though iTunes.

I got a new charger B to test, this all works fine, driver loads fine and be able to mange the phone successfully.

I tried uninstalling the driver and reloading but in vain.

I tried on three laptops but same result. All are windows 7 OS.

When I went to Apple support by person they told they CANNOT support anything related to Windows OS and only support APPLE OS, i.e MAC.

I need help to sort this out as I have isolated the problem to be with cable but not sure how to replace this.
