not able to make outgoing calls from I phone 5

I am having a I phone 5 and the serial number is C7******TWD AND MY MODEL NO. IS FD297ZA/A . SUDDENLY I AM HAVING TROUBLE FOR OUTGOING CALLS. I AM NOT ABLE TO MAKE ANY CALLS BUT OTHER FUNCTIONS LIKE INCOMING, APPS, E-MAIL, AND OTHER FUNCTIONS ARE WORKING PROPERLY. I HAVE USED MY PHONE CARD TO OTHER PHONE AND REALISED THAT PHONE CARD IS WORKING PROPERLY. MAY I KNOW IS THERE ANY TROUBLE WITH MY OPERATING SYSTEM OR SOME MAJOR TROUBLE, BECAUSE IT OCCURED SUDDENLY

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting. If this does not work, and to make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and see if you can place a call. If it still does not work, this might be hardware related and the phone has to be checked by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:
