I understand that your iPhone 5 is indicating a 'No Sim" alert. If you are using the device on the original carrier that it was intended for, take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the article below.

Is the message that there is no SIM card, or that the SIM card is not from a supported carrier?

THank you lawrence for respons, the message say " no sim card" because of old sim card slot dammage, long time i use my phone for net only until i update to ios 8 then my phone locked and i cannot activate it

There must be a SIM card in the phone to activate it. The card can be removed after activation. But if the slot is damaged you are out of luck.
