I am not able to send texts or recieve texts from people who do not have an iphone. I have tried turning imessage of and it still does not work

SMS is a carrier feature. Contact your carrier and make sure that your account is properly configured.

Nope, it wasn't. It was a me glitch. I answered in the wrong thread, then corrected.
