stolen mac!

Good afternoon,

As i already said I got my mac book air stolen.

I had find my iphone activated but they have turned my mac off.

I was wondering which of the possible modes of find my mac is the best option as it says that the block with message mode wont be able to track it.

At the same time I am not sure how the aplication works as, will i get a notification of location even it he resets the mac and use it with another Id????

Am i going to get a notification for sure??What else can I do??
