Q: iphone6 on iOS 8.3 exchange email keeps shutting down

Removing and readding the affected account may help prevent Mail from closing unexpectedly when addressing a message.
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the affected email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.

The strangeness got worse... I noted that it only did it when I would type the letters C, D, P or S. Any other letter of the alphabet was fine. I called apple support and they ended up suggesting I use itunes to completely reset the unit and start from scratch, which I did, and it resolved the issue.
