When I try to plug it in, it's like two magnets repelling each other. It won't go in fully and jumps out at my slightest movement. There isn't any debris in the slot, I tried cleaning it and nothing came out, and it charged fine when I tried using my brother's charger? Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd try getting a new charger but I have to wait a while before I can.

I understand that you are unable to charge your iPhone with your Apple branded USB cable. Since the issue does not persist with another cable, you most likely will need to get a new cable. Just to understand correctly, it is the Lightning end of the cable that won't or can't plug into the phone? Or is it the USB end of the cable that goes into the charger or computer?
