He is correct. That red dot just means you have a notification. Swipe down and you will see what the notification is about.

swipe down from the watch face to get the notifications. anyone find a way to "dismiss all" notifications with one gesture? 😟
Thanks for the info! I just got mine yesterday and this dot appeared about an hour ago.
I looked up for you. To clear a notification from Notification Center, swipe it to the left, then tap Clear. To clear all notifications, press the display and then tap Clear All.
