Why is itunes asking me to authorize an old Apple id to play a song?

last night, i transfer'd old music, from an old ipod, into my itunes music library. Today however, Im told 1 (or more?) songs isn't authorized to play on this computer, and is asking for an Apple ID password, for an apple ID that i haven't used in almost a decade! what do i do?

Authorize it with that Apple ID, or delete and the songs and redownload them from a different one; the second option may require repurchasing them.

Each item downloaded from the iTunes Store(other than podcast episodes) is associated with an Apple ID.
