I dropped my phone in water.

Okay, so I dropped my phone in water and I took it out as fast as I can. First, the speaker was messed up so I wiped the water off the phone and the holes where the sound comes out. But it was still kind of messed up so I used my hair dryer to dry the water inside. Now the speaker works perfectly. But I am still worried about my phone. Will my phone be okay? Or do I buy have to buy a new phone or get it checked?

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.3

just to be safe i would leave it in rice for like 24 hours. i stepped in snow and had my phone in my boot and my phone got DRENCHED. i put it in rice overnight and everything has been fine since.

once an iPhone ,or any electronic device, is immersed in water it is unlikely to last very long

Apple will exchange for an Out of Warranty device for US$269 + tax if you don't want to risk it suddenly failing
