Macbook Air won't charge

I got my mac from UPS yesterday and when I initially plugged it in it worked fine. This morning I plugged it in and the charger (MagSafe2) led didn't light up. The computer still gets a power from the cord but not a charge. The battery indicator shows the battery with a lightning bolt thru it but it remains at 30%. I have tried to reset the system management controller but nothing changed.
