Hello All!
I notice alot of MacBook Pro 2011/2012 owners say they can have up to 16GB of memory!
Is that only on the 2.6GHz version? Or can the 2.3GHz version also go up to 16GB memory? Or is the max at 8GB for the 2.3GHz version?

Assuming you aren't referring to a Retina model:

It just says maximum 8GB on the 2.3GHz version (on the information page for my laptop model)
On the Apple site? If so, this is normal, as Apple doesn't upgrade their specs as new/larger RAM chips become available.
Check your model at the site below for available upgrades.
