Is there a way to tell the bluetooth version of a connected device?

How can I tell what is the bluetooth version of a device connected to a mac computer? Here is how the device shows up in the System Information:

Address: 00-11-B1-09-F9-CB

Major Type: Headset

Minor Type: Audio

Services: Headset, Hands-Free unit

Paired: Yes

Configured: Yes

Connected: Yes

Manufacturer: Cambridge Silicon Radio (0x6, 0x21C8)

Class of Device: 0x04 0x01 0x240404

RSSI: -52

Role: Master

EDR Supported: Yes

eSCO Supported: Yes

SSP Supported: Yes

Can anyone perhaps translate:

0x6, 0x21C8

0x4 0x01 0x240404

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
