Use iTunes match with iCloud

Use iTunes match with iCloud

(I don't want to but) need to get iTunes Match so I can keep songs that have not been purchased on iTunes. Can i still use iTunes Match if my iCloud storage is only the basic one and my iTunes library is greater then my storage plan? Or do i have to upgrade and pay more money...

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012), iOS 6.0.1

Thanks for your question about whether songs in iTunes Match count against your iCloud storage capacity limit. The following article describes what counts against that limit. iTunes Match songs are not part of it -
