There has been a version if iPhoto Library Manager for Photos released - it is called PowerPhotos, see this webpage:
Yes I saw that notice when I opened Manager, but it did not say power photo was a replacement. It asked me to update manager to 4.2?
i Did that so the fix is Power photo I also noticed that the file size is reduced in Yosemite as it went from 9
59 hi to 36 gig.
