Go to Settings>Mail, Contacrs, Calendars, select the account in question, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete Account.
The problem us that my Apple ID us tied to my old hotmail account which I deleted, Every time I log in to my phone it wants to ask for a password related to that account, but I have iCloud as my main account on my phone.
How to I delete the first account which does not exist on my Iphone?
Thanks
The account does not exist in my phone it is present only in the box that appears when you try to access the internet, on the box that asks for your Apple ID.
I don't know how to disassociate this hotmail account from that box.
Thanks

That was not wnat you originally asked. Changes to your Apple ID have to be made in your account and managing the Apple ID. I'm not sure why you are being prompted for your Apple ID to access the Internet, that does not make sense. Your internet access has to do with your cellular provider or your wi-fi.

I am not very savvy about my Iphone I have had it for years and I am disgusted with the way it functions. My Apple ID is linked to iCloud and Gmail set up. The Hotmail account in my phone seems to be linked to iCloud since when it asks for my Apple ID it lists both email addresses. I don't understand why it shows an account that has been deleted and it links it to iCloud.
Thanks

It depends on how you originally set up the phone. When you created your iCloud account, it was based on the Apple ID you were using at the time. It seems you need to go to manage your Apple ID and find what email it is connected to. It's not as simaple as just deleting an email address.
Deleting an email account does not affect your Apple ID in any way. Your Apple ID is really your username, whether the account exists or not. You need to go to https://appleid.apple.com and change your login to a current email address. See: Apple ID: Changing your Apple ID
