iPod nano not recognized by new computer with same version of iTunes

iPod nano not recognized by iTunes on new computer. Same iTune versions. Going from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1.

iPod nano (7th generation), Windows 8, Windows 8.1 - Latest iTunes.
