Default folder for bookmarks

Default folder for bookmarks

Whenever I hit the "plus" button in the address field, the same "add to" folder always shows up. How do I change the folder to a different one?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Click inside the popup box under "Add this page to" and select the folder from the dropdown list.

My dropdown list looks different than yours. (I am using Yosemite.)

However, experimenting with your suggestion led me to discover that if I hold down the option button while clicking on the plus, it will bring up an "Add to and make default" dropdown list.
