My 2011 Mac air only shows the grey screen and the chime repeats over and over when I power it on.

Question

WhenI power on my air it shows the grey screen and the chime repeats over and over. Does not boot up. Any ideas?

Likely to be hard drive failure. Take it in to an Apple Centre for a free diagnostic.
