How would I choose a single output on a channel strip? The only options I'm given are Out 1-2, Out 3-4 and so on. I'd like to choose say 3, or 17… without having to choose a stereo out and pan it. I want to use my analog console, and I need a single in and out for every channel.
With either my pro audio card or Apple's built-In audio..... if I LeftClick-Hold on top of the Stereo Out selector at the bottom of the popup I see mono selections. Note: This is Logic-9 on Snow Leopard. Are you saying Logic X doesn't have mono options?
What is your analog console?
Pancenter---- I'm using logic 8 on OSX 10.6.8. The console is a Midas Verona 400.
Maybe this wasn't possible in earlier versions of Logic--- Seems like something that would be standard in any DAW, kind of a deal breaker for people that mix out of the box.
Indeed, it is a limitation of Logic version 8. Was added in Logic 9.
One (as in mono 😉) more reason to finally upgrade .
