logic pro 9

Good morning to all Logic Pro 9 users,

I have an issue with the Nektar LX88 which may well be a Logic pro9 setting issue, however I have used other midi keyboards and up to now have not had this issue:

-Run the Logic pro by creating a new project

-As usual create a midi track and choose an instrument

-When playing the only key not producing any sound is the D#3

-I Switch the LX88 off, and the message will come up that “ Device impact lx88 is assigned to midi port 1 which is not present”

-I then switch off the lx88, then press the Layer+Split key and turn it on (factory reset)

-Then I select a new track and now when I play the D#3 it will work and produce sound like the other keys

Well you may agree that this is not the proper way and I would appreciate if you could assist.

Awaiting your reply

With kind regards,

Levon
