If I trade in a smartphone in the middle of a contract, do I need to still pay the ETF?

I don't like my Samsung Galaxy s5, I want to trade it in. If I trade in my Samsung smartphone to Apple in the middle of a Verizon Contract for 2 years, do I still need to pay my ETF (Early Termination Fee)?

That is up to your Service Provider, not Apple.
