Everytime I try to watch a DVD, my iMac tries to read it then pops it back out without any helpful reason why!
Each time my old DVD player is able to read them without any problem. My latest DVD is Transcedendence so I am not trying to play `old DVDs.
Yosemite works fine with DVDs. Try another DVD, if the problem persists then reset the SMC and PRAM using the instructions below. Post back with your results.
