Using verizon iphone 6 CDMA with international GSM sim cards

Has anyone used a verizon iphone 6 model a1549 CDMA with international GSM SIM cards (specifically in Europe)? I'll be in Sweden for a while and want to get the verizon iphone 6 but want to make sure that european GSM carriers will work. I looked at the page on apple that tells you which LTE band each supports but I'm confused why model a1549 cdma doesn't include many of the countries (even if they have the same bands). I was wondering if anyone used sir verizon iphone 6 with SIM cards in Europe and can confirm whether or not it works. I continually get different answers from every verizon or apple representative that I talk to and I'm not sure who to believe.

The Verizon iPhone 6 is a completely unlocked 4G LTE iPhone. You an use it where every you like. Just make sure that you hold on to your Verizon SIM.

Thank you for your response. I know that the verizon model supports one of the bands in Sweden but doesn't support an lte-td band. Does this mean it won't work at all or it will only be slower because it will use the band it does support?

It should work, just not on the LTE band. However, to be sure, contact the carrier on which you'll be using the phone.
