Issues with book assembly in iPhoto '09

In iPhoto '09 (v8.1.2), the assembly of my photobook (~50 pages and 200 photos) for either the preview or the ordering of the book does not happen leading to iPhoto freezing.

I have previously ordered books from this iPhoto without any trouble. However, I cannot assemble a preview of these previous books anymore.

Any idea would be great!
