How can I disable my iMac to leave my Macbook Pro the principle account

I have an IMac which is now unsuitable for me.

In the process my iMac has become useless (Maybe funny upgrade or my idiocy)

All my Docs and photos etc, have been transferred via backup discs and other means.

iTunes of course is held by the iMac.

It is not clear what you want to accomplish.

Do you want to erase the iMac's contents? If so, be sure to copy your iTunes Library also, if you want to remain it. Write back if you need instructions.
