Can the Apple Watch Bluetooth pair with a car
Just curious; can the watch be paired to a car's Bluetooth?

I have the Apple watch 3 with a F150 2016 Lariat, It just won't pair, tried everything, the watch see Sync and the car see the watch but it is always timing out.
Same problem with my 2013 Honda Civic and 2016 Honda Accord. Gets to the actual pairing process but then the pairing times out. I connected my LG Urbane 2nd Ed LTE watch to both cars with no problems and that watch was also paired to the very same iPhone. Is this due to different support of the Bluetooth spec? Is Apple Watch simply incapable of the pairing handshake with non-LE (Low Energy) devices? Urbane 2 supports Bluetooth 4.1 plus Bluetooth LE. Apple Watch 3 is maybe Bluetooth 5 LE? BT 5 is backward compatible with 4.x but does the Watch 3 support LE-only? I'd expect more cars will also support wifi in the future, which theoretically would be another method for Apple Watch to connect. Unfortunately, none of that conjecture means anything for most, if not all, people today who'd like to be able to leave their phone while taking calls and streaming music on their Apple Watch 3 LTE over the car stereo. Perhaps a small use-case but I fall into it anyway.
I am in the exact same situation with the Seat Leon 5F 2013. The car auto connects to my iPhone 5 and pulls in the contacts. Ever since getting my Apple Watch Series 1, my car sees my iPhone via searching Bluetooth, but says it is "Unable to Pair"...
I had the same problem. This is how you fix it.
1- turn off bluetooth device
2- on your apple watch turn ON airplane mode, wait 7 seconds, then turn OFF airplane mode
3- turn your bluetooth device back on
4- Your apple watch should now recognize your device
It may if your car has hands free bluetooth though it's far more likely your phone would pair with it first.
It is very unlikely that your car runs the services needed by the watch, after all I bet your car was made when the watch did not exist. Wait for the car manufacturer to update their software.
After pairing my Apple Watch with my iphone 6+, my car's (2013 BMW 328i) bluetooth audio became problematic with music skipping all the time. It was perfect before the pairing. Turning off the watch did not help. Not too sure what to do aside from not using the watch. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
There seems to be conflicts with the Apple Watch, iPhone6 Bluetooth and car connectivity. The iPhone is the hub that Bluetooth goes through for both the watch and the car, the watch itself is not pairing to the car. I have an iPhone 6 Plus that has no problem connecting to my Toyota RAV4 EV audio and phone system via Bluetooth. I recently paired an Apple Watch to the phone, and all was well until the next time I got into my car. The automobile Bluetooth would no longer automatically pair with the phone, and when I forced a connection, the result was that my watch would no longer receive calls. I left it alone, and a few days later I realized that my watch had ceased other operations as well: it would no longer charge with the provided dock, and sending taps, heartbeats and on-watch texts immediately failed. Ultimately, I had to remove the car Bluetooth connection from my iPhone and reset the watch to "out of the box" settings before it became functional again. At this point I cannot connect the iPhone to the car via Bluetooth without impacting the watch. Apple Watch devs: software fix, please!
Is this the latest information/ fix for the Apple Watch and 6+ phone and car Bluetooth??? I have the newest Apple Watch Series 2 and 6 + phone and 2013 Nissan Leaf with upgraded navigation system. When someone calls me the car Bluetooth and my iPhone do not let me hear the caller. They say they hear me but I can't hear them so I call them back and then my car Bluetooth works. Is there a fix for this????
