I cannot access itunes store.I get an error message stating i am not connected to the internet, but this is not the case. It has been like this for months.

I am unable to access anything on the itunes store. I cannot sign in either, to check my account details. I can access the internet, so do not know what the issue is. I have run a diagnostics test which confirms that there is a problem with accessing itunes store and none of the solutions stated, help in anyway.
