My iPhoto are all messed up. It shows faces of all the pictures I took, but doesn't show all the people as a group. I went into my find and checked my iPhoto library and it is the same that shows in iPhoto. How do I get back my orignal pictures?

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
I am running Iphoto
The Version is 9.6.1
When I double click on faces it shows the faces that I put in the face file.
I went back to my time machine to bring back all of my original pictures
My Library is stored in my Document files
I guess I did an update to iPhoto on April 12th 2015
This update was to go from iPhoto to photo
The rest of the questions you asked I don't know how to answer them.
On some of the pictures in iPhoto that only show the faces this is the information that is with the date of the picture.
