Recently my laptop has been ejecting dvds automatically. It whirs and sounds like it is about to load, but then ejects it. I bought a Ultra Prolens Cleaner, but it keeps ejecting that too. I don't want to take it into an apple store where they will over charge me to get it fixed. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Try shooting in some compressed air if you have it. Or take a fime microfiber cloth )eyeglasses cleaning cloth) wrap it around a business card and carefully insert it into the slot.
If no success, do make a genius bar appointment. They will evaluate your MBP for FREE and if there are any repair costs involved, you will be told exactly what they are and you are free to accept or reject them. You then will know exactly what the problem is.
