I've just run into error trying to open itunes (error 7). I've scoured internet support websites and videos that address this issue, but have had no success in finding a solution. I have Windows 7 with necessary updates and have pulled out all the stops that Apple has suggested. I'm totally at a loss, but am sure there is a solution to this. Any advice or suggestions to this bummer would be appreciated.

I know you said you searched the internet and tried everything but have you tried the steps in the article below that address this issue specifically. Try running the iTunes installation file as an Administrator and if you still are experiencing issues, follow the link that will have you remove iTunes and then reinstall it.
