Does anyone know how to import photos to the good-old iPhotos instead of the !@#$% new Photos when you plug in your SD card from the camera? I would prefer to continue using iPhoto while the kinks are worked out of the new app.

Thanks for your help on that. Do you know if this means I have duplicates of all my photos in the computer (iPhotos and Photos)?
The simple answer is no, but the relationship is unusual, Photos library is hard linked to the images in iPhoto's library, but you can delete the iPhoto library and the Photos library will not be affected. Think of the files as being in both places at once, delete either library and the files will remain, delete both however ......
