Brand new imac stuck on startup screen
Hello,
I was setting up a network when the system of my brand new iMac (4 days old with about 6 hours of use) froze (beach ball of death)
The only thing i could do was to hold the power button on the back.
When I turned it back on the white bar was stuck on 10% aproximately and i kept waiting but nothing happened. I pressed command+alt+P+R turned it off, waited for 10 seconds turned it on again. Same thing happened.
Then I turned it on and pressed shift, the bar got to about 25% very slowly and then froze again.
Then I turned it on while pressing D, diagnostics said no problems were found. From there I went in to safe mode (only safari worked)
Rebooted, but again: the bar gets stuck on 25%.
Is my brand new iMac broke?
