Backing up text msgs and voice memos

I'm upgrading my iPhone 4S to an iPhone 6, but I would like to save my text messages and voice memos. Should I back up my data using iTunes or iCloud (or something else)?

Hi Evelina17,

If you'd like to transfer your data to your new device, a backup via iCloud or iTunes would be the way to go. The article linked below details how to go about backing up to each.

We've also got an article that details how to go about utilizing said backup to transfer your information to your new iPhone 6.
