Iphone backup passwors set by iTunes

Okay,

So we have an iPhone 5, and we created a backup of it using iTunes yesterday.

Before creating the backup, a prompt was given to enter a password, but we canceled that one, not setting a password at all.

Now we have created a backup file.

We tried updating the iPhone to the latest version, and something went wrong, requiring us to boot the iPhone in recovery mode.

This worked, and the phone itself now works again.

However, when we want to restore the phone using the backup that was created, we're getting a password prompt by iTunes to enter a password.

  • No password is not an option
  • 1234, 12345, 123456, 0000 do not work
  • iTunes password does not work
  • Apple account does not work
  • gmail email or passwod do not work
  • Windows has no password set
  • Any of the above in lowe case do not work

So right now we have a resetted iPhone, but are unable to put back our data on this phone, which is a major problem as some of the information on it has no other source.

What password is being set by iTuned on this thing?
