How to setup web service and domain to be reachable over internet?

good afternoon,

i was wondering how to make web service to be accessible over the internet? I was able to make it work over local network but when it comes of sharing it over the internet I hit the problem. I bought the domain from godaddy and I want that to be always accessible over the internet as www.example.com which pulls the info from my server and show it For connected user. I have a static ip which os x server recognizes my computer to be accessible over the internet and ftp works just fine right after when I enable it but not a web service. Can you explain of how to setup web service to be accessible over the internet with domain name added to it?

THank you!

OS X Yosemite (10.10)
