Problem with Logic Pro 9 after 10.10.3 update

Every time I try to save the file using 'save as' my Logic crashes and I get this message, please help. I tried a restart wit no result. Before the 10.10.3 update everything was fine.

Same exact problem!!! Help! 😟

Please post up the entire Crash log..... Without that, little can be done to assist you... (Which is likely why the previous poster got no assistance either..)

Note: Logic Pro 9 and Yosemite can be unstable under certain circumstances.. Typically the cause is actually found to usually be related to hardware drivers or 3rd party plugins that have not been updated to or do not work correctly with, the updated OS x version.

Solution? If no updated drivers/plugins can be found, roll back to your previous OS X / LP9 configuration using your backups...

No backups? Lesson learned........

While I really apprecaite the work taken to upload so many screenshots..

All you had to do was copy the text in the crash log and paste it either directly to the reply box here or, if the bug is still present that prevents extra long posts... upload it to dropbox etc and provide a link....

As it stands I'm having a really hard time tracking everything across so many screenshots unfortunately plus it's missing the important end part too... but so far, Im not seeing anything concrete that could cause your issue..

So, could you try again, using a text copy or file instead?

Also, please download Etrecheck...

http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck

Then Launch Logic Pro and then run Etrecheck's report and post that up too... in text format...

Thanks..

Well, this is a tricky one as there doesn't seem to be anything specific that stands out and could be causing your issue.... though the actual crash seems to relate to a problem with the file system to some degree... but it could be a conflict going on that is triggering this...

Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[DfJamPackManager _stopSearching]: unrecognized selector sent to

instance 0x47f86f0

However, as soon as I see any Avid/Digidesgn drivers installed that always brings up an alert given how touchy they can be. The problem in your case is they do not appear to be all running though the IOkit is loaded up... so normally that shouldn't affect things.. but if you are not using them, I'd remove them (along with anything else you are not using any longer along the same lines)

Also, make sure you have fully updated your Duet with the latest firmware/drivers... that came out today (June 1st 2015) as it happens...

http://www.apogeedigital.com/support/duet-ios-mac

The same applies with any other hardware you may be using, like Maschine for example...

Its a bit bizarre that Calendar is running and using up 50% of your CPU.. that's really high but that might be something that happened very briefly and was captured by Etrecheck when you ran the report.... or it could be another symptom...

It's worth saying that whenever i run LP, I quit all other apps no matter what including any background tasks running to devote all resources to Logic itself... Like Spotify, calendar, Chrome, Mail etc... This will help performance given you only has a 2 core CPU...

Finally, if none of the above helps... and I suspect it might not... you may be suffering from some sort of OS X file corruption... which might explain the particular crash you are having.. along with the file issue and iCloud.... It's really hard to say for sure.. but it's quite possible and this probably means you should restore from your backups to a date prior to when this issue began... to resolve it... using OS X's recovery partition/features... and then try updating OS X again, if that is what triggered these issues.
