Where's the ipod options button?

I am running the latest version of itunes and have purchased a new nano. according to the tutorialthere should be an ipod options button, which is situated on the bottom right corner of itunes.
Basically I want to remove some songs from my ipod, and have tried unchecking them in itunes, but I think I need to do it manually whilst my ipod is connected. For that I need the options button.

Any ideas?

To clarify what is I think a misunderstanding, there is no actual "Options" button, so stop looking for a literal button that says "Options."

Check out this image:

If you look at the screen shot, on the left side is the "Source List." It has your Library, your Devices, Store, and Playlists. Devices however will not show up until a device is actually connected.

When you connect your iPod, it should automamtically change the main window in iTunes to show the iPod Summary (as shown in the screenshot).

However, if it does not do this automatically, Devices will show up in the left window in iTunes with your iPod listed within it. If you don't see your iPod initially but see "Devices," click the arrow to the left of "Devices" and it will expand to show your iPod.

Click on your iPod, and the main window will change to show the iPod Summary. This is what is shown in that screen shot I linked to above. In that main Summary tab, you can see at the bottom there are Options. Any option you need that is not listed there can be found by clicking through the other tabs along the top of that main window.

I'm sorry about that last post.
I didn't say what I was questioning.
Anyway, I CANNOT find a options button, or anything you are talking about on the summary page. I have played with this for two days and still no joy.
I am going to reinstall Itunes tonight but what should I be looking for to find a options button. I think I did see it when I first put it on but now can't. What would happen to make it disappear. There is nothing about what was said in the summary page.
Someone mentioned Preferences but I don't see this either.
What do you mean you have to register the product-----which I did when I first loaded everything up.
Thanks and look forward to someone helping me out here.

thanks for the reply but I found it!!
Your right in saying I was looking for a button but I reloaded Itunes etc. So I get my ipod showing in Devices etc on the left side and click on it. Up comes the summary page, which it always did before, and I see music , photos etc across the top. While I am looking at it and still looking for the stupid button I notice I can move the screen down by scrolling down on the right hand side of the page and would you believe it there right in front of me is the "options" page. DUH!!!! I had not scrolled down far enough before thus my total confusion. Thanks for the reply though. Again----DUH!!!
