No Xcode on Mavericks?

I need Xcode to install some software from Git, but it doesn't seem to be available for Mavericks anymore.

The app store version says I need Yosemite.

The command line xcode-select --install says it cannot install because it's not available anymore. It's like I missed the boat on downloading it and now you no longer are able to?

If you cannot access the above URL, then you may need to sign up for a Free Developer account, then you should be able access older versions of Xcode.
