Q: Why is the "other" in my storage over 20GB?

AAfter update to 8.3 the other section of my storage is over 20 GB. It is taking up too much room. I want to cut that down, but nothing I have tried is working.

iPad Mini, iOS 8.3

Try rolling the date on your iPad back 1 year (turn off set automatically) .  Open the Photos App & then the Recently Deleted album.  If there are photos/videos in there, choose Select (top right) then choose 'Delete All' (top left)  .  Now set the Date back to 'set automatically'.

Tthe Other category holds app data, photos and old streamed videos, etc. The best way I found to clean it up is to connect to iTunes, back it to your computer (check Encode backup on), then Restore the iPad from the backup.
