split screen not Working on Yosemite 10.10.3

As a VJ I often use the splitscreen mode on my older iMac. Just found out this weekend that, after upgrading to 10.10.3 the splitscreen function isn't working anymore. Downgraded to 10.10.2 and everything was fine again. Anayone else noticed a problem on this?
