Calls from and to iPhone 4s get dropped about 60 seconds into the call, with no call record registered. What should i Do?

The network indicator toggles from No Service, to Searching, to my network provider found intermittently. Usually a Switch Off/On would work till about 2 weeks ago and the problem has become very acute. I cannot make any phone call with about 2-3 dropped calls and the whole experience is tremendously frustrating as I cannot use my apps with the network connection either. Please advise if anyone knows a solution to this problem. Thanks.
