Mail not Syncing between devices

GOAL: To have a deleted message in my mail, delete on all devices, when I check my mail.

RIght now, the only way my mail is deleted, is if I delete it on my laptop. If I check my mail from my phone, or from my iPad, it DOES NOT DELTE on all of my devices. Very frustrating to have to go back and re-read (delete) you have already checked during the day.
